We are looking for a technician for a method of our client. The person will be responsible for defining, implementing and supporting methods of manufacturing, assembly and functional tests allowing for the optimal use of resources on a production line. The technician method works within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technical designers and production employees. 

What a typical day with us looks like:

  • Provide the required manufacturing and assembly engineers, technicians methods and tooling designers as an input to the process.
  • Assess the proposed design before issuing drawings to ensure compliance with the required manufacturing and assembly.Identify issues, participate in solving and implementing patches on the production line.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and question design for manufacturability and ease of assembly.
  • Be the liaison between the production, engineering and procurement.
  • Define the factory management plans, select manufacturing technologies and tooling concepts.
  • Issue, implement and manage the necessary documentation.
  • Develop and harmonize the production schedule of the pilot units.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production line as BOS and 3P and Kaizen workshops.
  • Produce mounting specifications from the CAD virtual model.

Our perfect match...

    • Have a college degree in mechanical engineering technology; • Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment; • Being mobile customers to work; • Experience in the field of transport is an asset; • Computer Aided Design software knowledge (CAD) (Catia V5 is an asset); • Bilingualism an asset (English - French); • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously; • Resourceful and autonomy; • Have an eye for detail; • Demonstrate excellent customer service; • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
