Our R&D team is looking for an Software-Hardware Embedded Engineer to develop low-level software (firmware) associated with the 3D scanning technologies commercialized by Creaform.

Your projects will lead you to

• Participate in the elaboration of the specifications of the electronic subsystems to be developed ;
• To program and maintain the firmware ;
• Develop software interfaces to communicate with the hardware during development;
• Design VHDL hardware gas pedals for FPGAs;
• Develop and maintain documentation on the use of the equipment to support the other teams that will have to develop around it;
• Develop and maintain test software to support production;
• Participate in technology watch.

You will feel at home if you

• Hold a university degree in electrical, electronic, computer engineering or software design;
• Are autonomous and persevering with a good experience in design, diagnosis and testing of prototypes in a research and development context;
• Possesses relevant knowledge in electronics such as microcontroller programming, communication protocols, etc..;
• Have experience in product development in the context of a company operating in a competitive technological sector;
• Have knowledge of C, C++ languages;
• Have knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#);
• Have knowledge of FPGAs;
• Have troubleshooting skills for embedded systems;
• Ability to work with minimal / no supervision;
• Are comfortable expressing yourself in French as well as in English.
