Creaform is currently looking for an Application Engineer to work with our Korean team. The ideal candidate will carry out data acquisition projects in house and at customer premises. The Application Engineer will be a technical expert for Creaform products.

Role and Responsabilities

• Supporting the Sales Department by carrying out technical demos for lead customers
• Performing benchmarks
• Providing solutions that best fit customer needs in order to progress towards purchasing, integrating and using Creaform technologies (laser scanners, portable CMM, photogrammetry)
• Providing metrology services using Creaform technologies as well as software applications or technologies from our partners
• Training customers on product operation
• Acting as a reference for the Creaform product line (use and knowledge)
• Working closely with customers, distributors, subsidiaries and headquarters for various trainings, integration activities and projects involving the use of the Creaform product line
• Assisting with any department operations as required in order to sustain workflows and meet production schedules and requirements
• Attending various meetings and task force groups in order to better integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, solve problems and maintain a high level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies

Required Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field/work experience
• 3–5 years of experience in metrology, CAD software or product design and inspection
• Interest in customer service and building client relationships
• Bilingual – Korean/English (written and spoken)
• Willing to travel for work frequently, including a few annual trips abroad
