We are currently looking for someone to hold the title of Purchasing Coordinator for the company's head office located in Levis. The holder of this title will have under his responsibility to support the planner in the production launching tasks, the subcontractors services management and the purchases related to the clients orders. 

Role and Responsabilities

• Coordinate the supplying department's daily activities ;
• Insure the follow-up, the improvement and the implementation of the performance indicators ;
• Take part in the supplying procedures development, the improvement and the deployment ;
• Influence the continuous improvement of the purchasing process according to the business' needs ;
• Insure the team's requests and purchases generation process efficiency to insure a constant supplying according to the production needs ;
• Be responsible of the purchases for a part of the critical components of the Creaform products ;
• Maintain the BOM structure (assembly and sub-assembly) as well as the parametrization of the components and suppliers to the MRP with the purchases and planification team;
• Be responsible of the costs reduction projects ;
• Be responsible of the negociation plan and annual agreements for the critical suppliers ;
• Actively take part in the received components quality improvement ;
• Manage the inventory and execute the reconciliation process at period-end ;
• Continuously improve the supplying process ;
• Take part in the department projects.

Required Profile

• Be bilingual (French-English) both written and spoken ;
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Supplying management concentration or a DEC with relevant experience in years or in a relevant field ;
• Have between 10 to 15 years in supplying management (purchases) ;
• Have team management and continuous improvement experience ;
• Have relevant experience in engineering or in an electronical or optical technology field is an asset ;
• Be able to travel overseas 2 or 3 times a year for a week or more each time ;
• Master the Office Suite ;
• Have strong abilities to work under pressure and change adaptation abilities ;
• A supplying experience overseas is a major asset ;
• Master the ACCPAC software or an ERP-MRP type software is a major asset.
