We are currently seeking an Automation and Electrical Technician for the Creaform office located in Laval, Quebec. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers in their innovation and research and development projects and to assist in projects related to the development of new equipment.

Role and Responsabilities

• Programming different automatons types (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemend, ect.) ;
• Programming different operators interfaces types, HMI/SCADA ;
• Designing the electrical power for automated systems and control panels;
• Reading and designing electrical plans with AutoCAD Electronical and other similar software;
• Selecting the power and control electrical components;
• Ensuring that automated systems boot up at the customers’ premises;
• Troubleshooting and fixing problems to improve the systems;
• Writing operational manuals ;
• Troubleshooting automated systems;
• Maintaining a high satisfaction level with our customers.

Required Profile

• Technical college diploma (3 years) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or Industrial Automation and Instruments (or related field);
• Bilingual (French/English, written and spoken);
• At least 2 years of relevant experience;
• Mobile (to work at the customers’ premises).
