What a typical day with us looks like:
- Build and maintain the design file including calculations, tests, audits, validations, costs and approvals;
- Validate that the concepts meet current standards and customer requirements;
- Program different types of robots (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc.);
- Program different types of controllers (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc);
- Program different types of operator interfaces (HMI / SCADA);
- Perform electrical power design, automated systems and control panels;
- Select electrical power and control components;
- Ensure the implementation of automated systems at the customer's premises;
- Diagnoses to correct problems or improve systems;
- Conduct trouble shooting of automated and robotic systems;
- Design and approve security features for an automated or robotic installation.
Our perfect match...
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automated Production Engineering, Industrial Automation and Instrumentation, Industrial Electronics, or in a related discipline;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Available to work with customers outside of the office;
- Knowledge of electrical design software;
- Knowledge of PLC programming software;
- Must speak French and English.
