We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work at the Creaform office in Costa Mesa, California. Under the supervision of the Project Team Manager, the project leader will be responsible for the entire Creaform external metrology project management process and for coordinating the engineering services project management. The selected candidate will be responsible for selling metrology and engineering services, managing project-related technical activities, following up with customers and making sure that they are satisfied with the services we provided them.

Role and Responsabilities

Project Management

• Gathering necessary data for service delivery;
• Summarizing customer needs in order to communicate them to technical teams;
• Managing and planning new projects in collaboration with the technical team managers and according to the processes in place;
• Using efficient project management tools (meeting minutes, follow-up lists, timelines, etc.);
• Following up with project teams and customers over the course of the project;
• Scheduling and carrying out post-project follow-ups with customers (measuring customer satisfaction).

Business Development/Sales

• Qualifying potential customers;
• Performing presentations and demos to customers (leads and existing);
• Creating service quotes for potential projects;
• Visiting existing customers occasionally;
• Working with different Headquarter teams in order to deploy strategic action plans aimed at specific, customer-related business sectors.

Required Profile

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or relevant experience in a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in project management (mandatory minimum);
• Knowledge of major CAD software (CATIA, Pro-E, Unigraphics or Solidworks) is an asset;
• Knowledge of aeronautics, transportation, energy or manufacturing sector(s) is an asset;
• Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset;
• Thorough and structured;
• Autonomous and energetic;
• Interest for customer service and ability to adapt to change;
• Quick learner with a great sense of initiative.
