The successful candidate will have the primary responsibility to develop new automated software tests and maintain existing tests in order to expand the scope of tests and expedite their execution. His mandate will be to start and complete a major project aimed at automatically testing software developed by Creaform. The incumbent may also be called upon to develop automated hardware tests and to carry out manual tests to assist the team of technicians and experts in product quality assurance.  

What a typical day with us looks like:

• Configure the automated testing environment and develop the complete architecture;
• Develop automated Python interface tests within the TestComplete environment;
• Maintain tests to adapt to changes in new software releases;
• Collaborate with software developers to help bridge the gap between automated test architecture and software architecture;
• Take charge of various computer files;
• Develop, as needed, automated hardware test benches;
• Participate, as needed, in manual tests to ensure software stability and device reliability.

• Has a college degree in computer science with a minimum of 3 years experience in software development;
• Proficiency in the Python or JavaScript programming language;
• Proficiency in the use and configuration of Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems;
• Be methodical, rigorous, resourceful and autonomous;
• Be comfortable to speak French (written and oral) and English (written).
