Role and Responsabilities

• Ensure deployment of NDT solutions on the territory through technical and marketing actions (demos, benchmarks, seminars, etc.);
• Gather and share input on market and potential applications with Product Manager;
• Ensure current applications are kept up to date and new applications defined and spec’d to facilitate development by R&D;
• follow-up on development to ensure strategic access to market;
• Provide feedback on market/user info to the product manager to that improvements to the product reflect clients’ needs
• Reach the NDT sales objectives that have been set for the territories (direct sales + distributors);
• Support the Americas sales team in developing NDT distributors and ensuring their growth: this is only applicable where direct sales are more difficult or on market where a reseller may add demonstrated value (e.g. Barefield)
• Initiate NDT marketing actions on the territory (conference on NDT, needs for marketing material, etc.);
• Write explanatory articles and make presentations at NDT conferences/conventions;

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering (or relevant field/work experience);
• Be fluent in English and French (knowledge of third language an asset);
• Be willing to travel through North and South America on a regular basis;
• Knowledge of and experience in NDT is a major asset.
