The occupant of the position will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative automation solutions to optimize the production processes of our clients, primarily in various sectors. As a project manager, you will oversee the complete management of projects of varying scope, from design to commissioning, including programming and supervising installations. You will work closely with our clients and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Manage automation projects in terms of cost, quality, and timelines.
  • Develop and adhere to schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ensure follow-up on billing and project closure.

Technical Expertise:

  • Design and implement custom automation solutions, including programming of controllers (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.), configuring vision systems, collaborative robotics, and integrating control systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop optimal technical solutions.
  • Select and order equipment and components.
  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of systems.
  • Provide technical support to clients and document projects.

Client Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage change requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, industrial automation and instrumentation, industrial electronics, or a related discipline.
  • A technical background combined with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in executing technical automation projects.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Developed customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and delegate workloads.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of industrial robotics.
  • Familiarity with programmable controllers (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.).
  • Knowledge of electrical design software.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design software is a plus.
