A typical day with Émilie and the team:

  • Develops and monitors the annual marketing plan in line with the strategic orientations of the marketing department and the engineering department

  • Recommends and manages marketing actions to promote the engineering service internally and externally: promotional events, trade fairs, B2B events, advertising inserts, communication efforts, marketing campaigns, etc.)

  • Supports the digital marketing expert in his initiatives; improves SEO, search marketing and social media optimization; edits and performs quality control of content on the web; recommends advertising insertions in directories, on banners or in electronic newsletters; offers new ways to improve brand awareness on the web

  • Supervises and collaborates in the development of content (presentations, publications, brochures, etc.)

  • Collaborates with the management team in the deployment of new business growth initiatives and the evolution of current service offerings, as well as ensuring competitive intelligence

  • Leads public relations activities and manages relations with the regional specialized press

  • Collaborates and analyzes performance indicators and communicates the performance of activities carried out

  • Manages the marketing budget of its activities

  • Manages all services marketing material and performs quality control: kiosks, banners, printed sales documents, promotional items


Excellent fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: marketing, communications, engineering or equivalent training

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in communications, B2B marketing, product management or in a similar position

  • Be bilingual (English-French)

  • Know how to manage priorities and several projects at the same time

  • Be comfortable in a constantly changing environment with sometimes tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing field in general as well as mass transportation, aeronautics, recreational vehicles and consumer products (an asset)

  • Knowledge of marketing automation software
