We are currently seeking someone to fill the position of Electrical Designer in Creaform’s Lévis office for a customer project located in Bromont, Québec. As part of the duties, the Electrical Designer will participate in the design and development of electrical diagrams, control panels and design elements in order to provide quotes for customers. The Electrical Designer must also validate that the new designs work properly, and that they can be assembled and manufactured.

Role and Responsabilities

• Produce power and control circuit diagrams and materials lists;
• Design and draw the diagrams to manufacture control panels;
• Select the electrical power and control components;
• Draft the design file and keep it updated, including the calculations, testing, verifications, validations, costs and approvals.

Required Profile

• DEC in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum of two years or more of relevant experience in product development and systems integration in a manufacturing environment;
• Relevant experience in low and medium power systems integration (12 to 600 Volts);
• Good knowledge of electrical design software, such as E-Plan, AutoCAD or other;
• Be independent, resourceful and demonstrate attention to detail;
• Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a teamExcellent English (spoken and written).
