We are currently looking for someone to hold the title of Electrical Engineer for the Creaform's office that is located in Laval. The holder will be in charge of completing the root causes analysis of various electrical nature default, essentially in the transport field (vibration, temperature, humidity, ect.). Once the cause identified and well documented, the personn will have to work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in order to find viable solutions. The mandate can extend to the solution implementation in the after-sale service, in the production, or both.

Role and Responsabilities

• Identify electrical nature root causes;
• Analyse the client's needs to convert them in concrete actions : Problem gravity identification, the needs in time and in resources, ect.;
• Take part in the multi-disciplinary technical meetings (R&D, production, service, purchases, ect.);
• Elaborate satisfying solutions for all the participants involved in the problem;
• Involve the suppliers in the problem or solution evaluation, as the case may be;
• Complete aging tests to validate the replacement solutions;
• Meet the clients, if needed;
• Analyse the technical aspect of the client's special requests in the orders and the submissions;
• Provide technical support to the designers;
• Provide reports and technical reviews, according to the requisite;

Required Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 2 years or relevant experience;
• Knowledge mechanical and electricl drafting softwares : Inventor, CATIA (cables and harnest modules), AutoCAD, Promis e (Asset);
• Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• Be bilingual (french-english).
