We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer in St-Eustache. The selected candidate will be responsible for integrating systems according to the requirements specifications. Additional tasks include verifying and approving new components as well as designer-developed systems while making sure the design meet the standards, policies and applicable regulations, and validating new concepts in order to make sure they are working and can be assembled and manufactured properly.

Role and Responsabilities

• Identifying and planning the product development-related project activities;
• Analyzing customer needs in order to turn them into system specifications and performance requisites;
• Building design files and maintaing them up-to-date, including calculations, tests, verifications, validations, costs and approval;
• Taking part in the design review;
• Verifying and approving new concepts;
• Carrying out a technology watch;
• Meeting with the clients as needed;
• Getting suppliers involved in the product development;
• Supporting the manufacture engineering group for solving production technical problems;
• Assisting the after-sale service (SAV) for fixing customer issues;
• Analyzing the technical aspect of customers’ special requests in orders and bids;
• Offering technical support to the designers.

Required Profile

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drafting software: Inventor, CATIA (Cables and harness modules), AutoCAD, Promise e an (asset);
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development and system integration in a manufacturing field.
• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, with an electrical power concentration (or relevant experience);
• Eligible to the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec ;
• Bilingual (Frech/English, writtent and spoken).
