Our R&D department is looking for an embedded software-hardware developer to develop low-level software (firmware) associated with Creaform's 3D scanning technologies.

You will be responsible for...

• Developing firmware and software on several embedded architectures with C, C++ languages;
• Developing software interfaces to communicate with the hardware during product development using languages such as C++, C# and Python;
• Developing firmware in VHDL for FPGA (programmable logic).

Your projects will lead you to...

• Participate in the elaboration of the specifications of the electronic subsystems to be developed;
• Collaborate in the selection of electronic components and the development of electronic schematics;
• Participate in technology watch and innovation;
• Develop and maintain documentation on the tools and firmware developed;
• Develop and maintain test software to support production.

You will feel at home if you...

• Have a university or college degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science or software design;
• Are autonomous and perseverant with good experience in design, diagnosis and testing of prototypes in a research and development context;
• Has relevant knowledge in electronics such as microcontroller programming, communication protocols, etc;
• Know C, C++, C# and Python;
• Are able to communicate in French as well as in English.
