Our R&D department is looking for a product quality assurance expert to ensure the quality of our reverse engineering software VXmodel as well as the 3D Go!SCAN and 3D peel sensors produced by Creaform.

You will be responsible for

• Developing, maintaining and executing functional and performance test plans for VXmodel software and 3D scanning devices in relation to project and product objectives.
• Planning and coordinating software regression testing to ensure the stability of each software version distributed by the company.
• Performing software and hardware testing of products in the development phase.
• Formalizing results and producing test reports.
• Analyzing test data and draw conclusions to improve product reliability and stability.
• Creating test cases to cover new products and features.

Your projects will require you to

• Participating in the bug management process: process requests, list bugs in the database, prioritize bugs and verify fixes.
• Actively participating in weekly development project follow-up meetings.
• Initiating ideas to improve the work methods of the QA team.
• Assisting the development and customer service teams.
  

You will feel at home if you

• Have a college diploma (with at least 5 years of relevant experience) or university degree in science or engineering in a field related to mechanics, computer science, physics or automated production.
• Know SolidWorks, Solid Edge or Autodesk Inventor CAD software.
• Have experience in software testing and test plan development.
• Have already completed 3D mechanical design and reverse engineering projects in a corporate environment.
• Are a methodical, rigorous, autonomous, critical thinker.
• Are skilled in writing.
• Understand the basic principles of the technologies developed by the company (software, electronics, optics and mechanics).
• Have an advanced level of French (written and oral) and an intermediate level of English (written).
