What a typical day with us looks like:

• Act as a consultant to external clients in the areas of structural and thermal analysis;
• Perform numerical analyzes on Femap / Nastran and / or NX / Nastran and / or Ansys and / or LS-Dyna software;
• Carry out calculations by hand (strength of materials, heat transfer, dimensioning of components, etc.);
• Write analysis reports, advise clients on suggested changes;
• Work closely with other FEA and CFD Engineers to validate calculation assumptions and recommendations to clients;Work closely with technicians and designers on design projects;
• Design mechanical parts, assemblies and complex mechanical systems;
• As required, prepare and give training sessions in your area of expertise both internally and externall.

Our perfect match...

• Holds an Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, (Master’s degree, an asset);
• Is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
• Has 2-5 years of experience with Ansys, Femap, Nastran and / or LS-Dyna software;
• Masters 3D design software, eg CatiaV5, SolidWorks, NX, etc.;
• Masters a variety of advanced subjects on numerical simulation applied to structural analysis (dynamics, vibration and acoustics, fatigue and cumulative damage, nonlinear and explicit analyzes, plastic materials and composites, etc.);
• Analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills;
• Good popularizer and communicator;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Can deliver projects in a short time frame;
• Must speak French and a little English.

You earn points if you...

• Have experience in consulting engineering (external consulting);
• Know a programming language (Matlab, Visual Basic, C, etc);
• Are wiling to travel for on-site client mandate.
