The candidate for this position will be responsible to help the Shanghai team with day-to-day IT requests and issues. Working closely with the IT team located in Canada, as well as the Support Manager on site, the position will also require the applicant to prepare computers for customer orders by installing the necessary software and validating that everything is working properly.

Role and Responsabilities

• Install and configure computer equipment for employees and customers;
• Fix software and hardware issues;
• Perform service calls with vendors for equipment under guarantee that is not working properly;
• Perform levels 1 and 2 support for ticket requests for the Shanghai office;
• After troubleshooting, escalate unknown requests to the appropriate team;
• Maintain the ticket system by closing tickets no longer needing support;
• Enforce IT best practices, policies, processes, and procedures for the Shanghai team;
• Maintain IT inventory by allocating hardware and software to employees;
• Create user accounts for employees for business systems;
• Keep IT offices clean by removing boxes and equipment that are no longer needed;
• Populate the knowledge base management tool with procedures;
• Maintain conference rooms by validating that the equipment is functioning properly;
• Maintain printer park by replacing cartridges and doing general maintenance every few months.

Required Profile

• College or university education in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience;
• Bilingual (Chinese and English);
• Be passionate about great customer service;
• Experience with a Support ticket system;
• Knowledge of ghosting and repairing computers;
• Knowledge of ITIL approach;
• Knowledge of IT systems: Ticket System, TeamViewer, Windows, Office, Windows Imaging Service, Skype for Business;
• Any related IT certificates are a plus.
