We are currently looking for an IT Project Analyst for the Creaform head office located in Lévis, Quebec. A functional analyst specializes in bringing component subsystems together and ensuring that those subsystems function in synch. This includes analyzing incoming system improvements and bugs in order to improve business processes and meet employee expectations.
Role and Responsabilities
- Performing level 2/level 3 support for system-related tickets.
- Managing incoming system change requests and understand how they fit into the strategic plan.
- Preparing and coordinating software development for solving key business requirements.
- Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
- Preparing mass data updates.
- Performing data extraction tasks.
- Performing analysis tasks on incoming requests in order to understand requirements.
- Drafting functional analysis documents that detail business requirements.
- Drafting test plans for validating development efforts.
- Working with staff to execute such test plans.
- Preparing release notes that accompany project releases.
- Taking part in deploying systems into production.
- Following up with employees to update them on status of their requests and projects.
- Performing various management tasks such as: ticket management, employee management, project management, software management, incident management and change management.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- University or college degree
- Bilingual (French/English, written and spoken)
- Extensive experience in project management
- Ability to deal with the pressure and priorities stemming from a fast growing company
- Leadership and team player
- Strong organization skills
- Passionate about great customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of interacting professionally with a diverse audience: executives, managers, subject matter experts…
- In-depth knowledge of the following tools/concepts: Windows, Office, CRM, ERP, Project Management Software, Version Management Software, PMP, Manufacturing Software, Agile Development.
