• Participating in design reviews;
• Building and maintaining design specs, including calculations, tests, verifications, validations and approvals;
• Verifying and approving new concepts;
• Collaborating and playing a crucial role in continuous improvement processes;
• Participating in earned value analyses and cost reduction processes;
• Providing requirements and performance levels to attain to the design team;
• Organizing and planning initiatives with respect to product development, either as a member or leader of a team;
• Monitoring technological trends;
• Supporting customer service teams in resolving customer issues ;
• Meeting suppliers and clients;
• Supporting the manufacturing engineering team in resolving technical issues on the product lines;
• Analyzing the technical aspects of clients’ special requests during orders and quotes;
• Offering technical support to designers;
• Calculating costs of each new development project ;
• Working with suppliers in product development projects.

Our perfect match...

• Has an university degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• Has five years of relevant experience;
• Must speak French and English.
