Who we are looking for? The perfect candidate to fill the position of NDT Account Manager to develop sales across China and qualify our NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) solutions, mainly in the oil & gas, aerospace, and power generation industries. The NDT Account Manager will be pro-actively developing a network of customers through Business Development activities for our Pipecheck, SmartDENT3D, and other surface inspection solutions developed by Creaform for maintenance applications. The candidate will be responsible to provide demonstrations, support distributors, organize benchmarks and qualifications, generate revenues, and identify additional sales opportunities for the company’s solutions in the NDT sector. This role requires international collaboration with other NDT Account Managers within Creaform to optimize key-accounts management and share best practices. This position is based at Creaform Shanghai office in China.

What a typical day with us looks like:

  • Generate revenues through a mix of direct and indirect sales to achieve sales performance goals;
  • Identify asset owners (pipeline and refineries) in the oil & gas industry to qualify our solutions and generate sales from service companies;
  • Identify airliners and MRO in the aerospace industry to qualify our solutions and generate sales;
  • Initiate and support marketing activities to support NDT sales development;
  • Identify new potential applications and share with the sales teams and Headquarter;
  • Participate in pre and post sales process to evaluate customer requirements, performing demonstrations, preparing quotes and follow-up on delivery process, payment collection;
  • Act as point of contact and provide technical expertise to potential customers during the pre-sales period through regular follow-up;
  • Utilize all available resources including sales management, inside sales specialists, applications Engineers, marketing and others to close sales;
  • Work closely with support department as required;
  • Manage leads, opportunities and provide sales forecast.

  • Has a degree in engineering;
  • Has 5 years of experience selling on the NDT market;
  • Has knowledge of corrosion monitoring and inspection code;
  • Has knowledge and experience in oil & gas or aerospace industries ;
  • Has knowledge and experience in NDT or laser technology;
  • Has experience with distributor channel management;
  • Speak English perfectly;
  • Is availability to travel on a frequent basis (up to 70% of the time) withing assigned territory;
  • Is results-driven, energetic with a sense of urgency; self-motivated and positive;
  • Has a business developer profile with strong team spirit;
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Has excellent organization skills, ability to meet deadlines and multi-tasking skills;
  • Is details oriented.
