Creaform Engineering's operations manager is above all a passionate engineering and operations optimization project enthusiast who knows how to surround himself with people. He is a dedicated leader who knows how to guide his team and propagate Creaform's values and distinctive culture. He ensures the direction of operational activities in order to execute Creaform Engineering (CE) projects while maintaining a high satisfaction rate. He manages his entire team and actively participates in the growth and success of CE.

What a typical day with us looks like:

  • In collaboration with the engineering department director :
    • Collaborates in the development of the annual strategic plan (priorities, objectives, major initiatives)
    • Structure and ensure the deployment of initiatives;
    • Manages the annual objectives of its sector and ensures the follow-up of activities;
  • Works in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department and its managers in the management of hiring processes, goal setting, performance management and salary review as well as any other aspect related to employee management;
  • Ensures sound management of human resources in its sector to maintain an efficient, dynamic and cohesive team;
  • Carries out a sound management of departmental expenses and ensures the profitability of operations;
  • Manages the overall capacity of the team vs. demands and needs (external/internal);
  • Manages the continuous improvement of the service offer in its sector in order to meet Creaform ingénierie's strategic ambitions;
  • With the support of team managers, ensures the development of skills and the training of the resources in place in order to maintain the expected level of quality and provide an outstanding customer experience;
  • Initiate and pilot projects for the development and optimization of work methods in order to achieve objectives;
  • In collaboration with the other operations managers, contributes to create synergy in all operations in order to improve the efficiency and quality of its services;
  • Monitoring and key performance indicators, process improvement and measurement tools;
  • Plans, organizes and leads team meetings to inform, plan, mobilize, consult and guide the team.
  • Ensures that the necessary measures are taken to ensure the safety and protect the health of the workers in his department.

  • Has a university degree in mechanical engineering or a related field;
  • Has approximately 10 years of experience in operations and personnel management;
  • Is fluent in both English and French, spoken and written;
  • Has leadership;
  • Is dynamic, rigorous and results-oriented;
  • Possess strong interpersonal and human resources management skills;
  • Has relevant experience in operations management or engineering management;
  • Has good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Is able to manage several files simultaneously;
  • Is able to work in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Is able to work in a multidisciplinary team; Ability to adapt to a context of frequent changes.
