We are currently seeking a client quality assurance engineer. The incumbent’s main role will be to ensure that parts purchased from external suppliers meet technical and quality requirements and to draw up the necessary action plans to provide the level of quality our clients expect. The successful candidate will work at our clients’ premises and will be required to travel frequently.

Role and Responsabilities

• Detect and analyze quality-related problems on the production line
• Help determine who is responsible for the noncompliance (internal or external supplier)
• Analyze the noncompliance and help external suppliers take the necessary measures to meet requirements
• Build relationships with our external suppliers and check the action plans they put in place to address noncompliance issues
• Lead multidisciplinary working groups to solve quality problems at our suppliers
• Help select suppliers that meet our quality requirements
• Help improve our quality management processes

Required Profile

• Bachelor’s in engineering in a relevant field (manufacturing)
• At least two years’ relevant experience in supplier quality assurance
• Knowledge of quality assurance approaches such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.
• High level of fluency in French and English
• Willingness to travel to our clients’ and suppliers’ premises
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Very good communications skills and strong sense of teamwork.
