The Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible to reach the marketing objectives set for his territory (leads, awareness, new product introduction, operational excellence, etc.). The individual will develop, direct, oversee and execute the various components of the regional marketing plan. Responsibilities will include management, planning, coordination and execution of advertising/promotion plans, awareness campaigns, tradeshow representation, organizing sales meeting, press releases and other public relations initiatives as well as e-marketing programs. The marketing specialist will report to the Manager, Regional Marketing Team and will work in close collaboration with the HQ marketing team and with the sales manager and sales colleagues in his assigned territory.

What a typical day with us looks like:

  • Develops regional marketing plan along with the Manager, Regional Marketing Team and the regional sales managers. In line with global marketing objectives, regional sales & lead generation objectives, etc. Analyzes and reports regional marketing performances.
  • Manages all events in the territory - Tradeshows, roadshows, product launches, sales and distributor meetings.
  • Develops and maintains event-related equipment such as stands and banners for the region.
  • Provides translation support to head office - Assists corporate marketing team in proof-reading translation (brochures, web) or translating short documents (PR, paragraphs, etc.).
  • Manages sales documentation (print), promotional objects and apparels inventory for the region.
  • Assists regional webmarketing efforts. Works closely with the corporate marketing team (project manager and vendors) to improve SEO, SEM & SMO. Recommends placement in directories, banners, e-newsletter, and shares new exposure ideas.
  • Manages ad campaigns & placement. Adapts ads developed by HQ.
  • Drives regional PR activities. In close collaboration with the corporate marketing team. Press releases, success stories, etc. Manages trade press contacts in the region.
  • Manages Software Partner marketing in territory. Manages relations with software partner counterparts. Puts together various initiatives and co-marketing programs.
  • Provides support for Branding Campaigns.
  • Manages regional marketing budgets.
  • Ensure proper lead management & reporting. Works closely with Corporate Marketing Team.
  • Manages communications with regional sales team / Participates in sales meetings.
  • Provides Competitive Intelligence Support.
