The incumbent primarily manages the operations of the after-sales service center to which he/she is assigned, and is responsible for serving Japan and some Asia Pacific customers. The incumbent is responsible for developing the expertise of his/her team, as well as relationships and after-sale business with resellers and direct customers in his/her designated territories. He/she will also provide technical support to customers, the distribution network and internal users of technology and software developed and sold by Creaform.
Role and Responsabilities
The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to these functions as part of the job. Management functions- Oversee all activities related to after-sales service:
- Technical support
- Sales support
- Repairs/calibration
- Shipping
- Inventory management
- Build and execute a team development plan including career development, team building and training
- Manage the support team in its administrative functions (vacations, call center assignment, reporting, performance reviews)
- Develop solid, long-term relationships with customers and resellers
- Lead changes to administrative processes
- Produce all key performance indicators related to sales, support and repair tasks
- Provide technical support to resellers and direct customers
- Locally implement corporate technical support processes and tools
- Manage complex technical situations with resellers and direct customers
- Deal with technical and financial issues related to repair cases
- Coordinate sales support with sales teams and resellers
- Locally implement corporate sales support processes and tools
- Manage the sales process for customer care plans
- Prepare the sales forecast for his/her territories
- Develop a plan to achieve sales objectives
Required Profile
- University degree in engineering or a related field with 3 to 5 years in a technical position;
- MBA or certificate in administration combined with 3 to 5 years of experience;
- Customer service experience;
- Bilingual (Japanese and English);
- Knowledge of metrology and measurement systems is a major asset;
- Knowledge of customer management software is a major asset;
- Knowledge of CRM and sales tools.
